On our print company’s website, we offer a privacy link on the footer of every page, but we never offered one on PrintRready.co. To be honest, we just overlooked it. What were we thinking?
First off, if you’re a Google Adsense partner, which we are, it’s a requirement. In fact, I’ve read where some bloggers think that Google not only penalizes Adsense publishers without a privacy policy, but reduces the earnings as well. I have found no proof to support that, but it is certainly possible I guess.
Higher earnings or not, Google, your customers and other online sources require or expect that you have a privacy policy in place. It wouldn’t be unreasonable to think that Google checks for a privacy policy as part of their Google search algorithm as well meaning you may rank better for natural search queries just by providing a privacy policy. Don’t get too excited, most reputable companies do have a privacy policy in place…and that’s the point.
Our privacy policy is below. Feel free to copy it for yourself.
