While everyone else was busy trying to keep up with iPhone, Apple was busy creating amazing new features to make iPhone more powerful, easier to use, and more indispensable than ever. The result is iPhone 4. The biggest thing to happen to iPhone since iPhone. And now its finally here, the white iphone.
Putting an end to months of rumors and speculation, Apple has announced that the white version of iPhone 4 will be available Thursday.
“The white iPhone 4 has finally arrived and it’s beautiful,” said Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior VP of worldwide product marketing. He had previously announced the white iPhone 4 for this spring.
As far as functionality goes, the white iPhone 4 brings absolutely nothing new: The only thing that’s different from the existing iPhone 4 is the color.
The white iPhone 4 will be available in Apple’s online store and retail stores, as well as AT&T and Verizon Wireless stores and select Apple authorized resellers. The suggested price is the same as the black version of the device: $199 for the 16 GB model and $299 for the 32 GB model with a new two-year agreement.
Besides the U.S., Apple plans to make the white iPhone 4 available in the following countries: Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Macau, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand and the UK.
